MY PITCH
Headwinds is a Toronto‑based sole proprietorship focused on designing and building data‑driven tools that help organizations understand and act on social and environmental challenges. The business combines full‑stack engineering, data analysis, and modern visualization practices to turn complex datasets into clear, usable dashboards for decision‑makers, frontline teams, and the public.
In the past, I have contributed to several key projects that significantly impacted company growth, most notably building multi-tenant platforms with rich data visualizion, delightful microtransactions, and app monitoring for performance, errors, and AI usage. They leverage Redis and Postgres databases, along with RAG using the pgvector storage capabilities for efficient data retrieval and analysis. I have setup cron jobs to schedule and automate data processing tasks, ensuring that the system remains up-to-date and responsive to user needs. I pride myself on my ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business objectives and exceeds user expectations.
